Boyi Fu spent the first eighteen years of his life in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Through sustained effort during his adolescence, he earned the opportunity to pursue his undergraduate studies at Macau University of Science and Technology. In the Macau S.A.R. of China, he spent four formative years with his peers and gradually developed a strong interest in scientific research. During his undergraduate studies, he was deeply grateful for the generous academic guidance and support he received from Professor Junxiang Yang and Professor Chi-Chong Wong in the fields of three-dimensional geometry and computer graphics. While studying at Macau University of Science and Technology, he was awarded the Fundação Macau Special Award Scholarship for Outstanding Students in Higher Education Institutions. He also received the Second-Class Honors Graduation Cord and was consecutively recognized as a "Dean’s Honor List Student" for three years. In his sophomore year, he was selected to participate in a summer program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he had the privilege of working under the supervision of Professor Zihan Kan. In his junior year, under the guidance of Dean Zhanchuan Cai of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, he won a National Award in the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling. During the same period, under the joint supervision of Professor Yan Qiao and Professor Siwei Zhang, he received both provincial-level and national-level awards in the China College Students Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition. Ultimately, he graduated from his alma mater with First-Class Honors.

付博亦在中國湖北省武漢市度過了人生的前十八個春秋，他在青少年時期付出的努力爲他爭取到赴澳門科技大學本科深造的機會。在中國澳門特別行政區，他和他的朋友們度過了人生最寶貴的四個春秋並逐步培養了他的科研興趣。他深深感激在本科期間有幸得到了楊俊翔教授和黃智中教授在三維幾何與計算機圖形學領域慷慨無私的科研指導與幫助。在澳門科技大學學習期間，他曾榮獲澳門特別行政區澳門基金會澳門高等院校優秀學生特別獎學金，他得到了本科生貳等榮譽畢業穗帶的榮譽並獲得了連續三年「院長優秀生」的殊榮。在大學二年級，他得到了赴香港中文大學參與暑期項目的機會，在那裏，他有幸得到了阚子涵教授的指導。在大學三年級，他有幸在創新工程學院蔡占川院長的指導下贏得全國大學生數學建模競賽的國獎。於同一時期，他也有幸在喬岩教授和張思維教授的聯合指導下贏得中國大學生機械工程創新創業大賽的省獎與國獎。最終，他以甲等榮譽從他的母校畢業。
